I don't have this issue with the one I purchased, I would guess you have too much moisture in the room? Do you have a dehumidifier you can use to see if the problem goes away? I'm assuming you have it indoors.

Fill the refrigerator up completely putting in enough to fill all the space inside. You will notice a lot less condensation inside after you do this and then get it all good and cold (about 48 hours for a warm unit filled to the brim with warm cans & bottles). Try to open the door briefly after that to reduce condensation.

answer 3
It has been our experience that condensation build up on the outside of the glass door (both inside and out) is usually related to the amount of humidity in the room where the unit is located. You may want to consider utilizing a dehumidifier to lower the humidity level of the room if the condensation build up is bothering you. If you believe the unit is not functioning as designed you may want to touch base with the Edgestar service department: (866) 319-5473, M-F, 8am to 5pm CST. Thank you for your question.

We will be putting it in our garage. It gets pretty cold here in DE in the winter. Will that hurt it? Probably down to zero sometimes.

not at all. Pretty cold in New England and the best thing about it is you dont have to turn the fridge temp up so much, which will save energy

This is an indoor unit, and should be kept in an environment between 50 and 90 degrees. Leaving it in the garage during the winter will compromise the compressor, and the unit will not work as effectively. If you are going to leave a unit like this in your garage, you should go with an outdoor rated unit, like the Edgestar OR900SS.

Question

Home brew keg will fit? Bottom shelf flat?

I'm looking to purchase a small fridge that will keep our half keg cool. Dimensions of the keg are 23.5" tall, 9.25" wide/deep. Is the bottom of the interior flat or does it have a raised section in the rear like small refrigerators do? I need a flat bottomed fridge. Thanks!

Hi,

This unit is flat, but you may find a problem with removing the barring at the bottom. We do have a fridge specifically for keg conversion, and that may fit your needs better for this particular situation.

Thanks!

The temperature setting is all depending upon how cold you want it to be. The BWC120SS will go down to 35, and if you want your drinks that cold, then by all means, set the unit to the coldest setting.

Ideally, you would like to have 2 to 3 inches on each side and the top, and 3 to 4 in the back. Depending on how much space you will have in the rear and the top, it may work for you. I would go with at least 6 inches in the rear and 6 at the top. Otherwise, you may want to consider either a smaller unit or a built in unit that vents out of the front.

Question

You have plenty of height as the Fridge measure 33" tall. The width is 19" so you have a 1/2 " to play with. If the fridge has a handle on the top of the door, it may be easier for you to open, with limited space on the side

Because this is a free standing unit, you will need to leave 2 to 3 inches on each side and the top, as well as 3 to 4 inches in the rear for the unit to vent properly. Thus, you cannot use this in the space you have specified. We do have a built in beverage refrigerator, model CBR900SS, that will work in your available opening.

The coolest setting is 7. The warmest is 1. Note as the unit can get to the mid 30s if you have it set at its coldest setting the items on the top shelf could frost over somewhat.

I had the same concern, as I homebrew in bottles and need to store chlled. I don't know the capacity, but bottles can be stored upright or on their sides (it is deep enough). Configuration is very flexible. I would think that at least 3 cases can fit inside.
